Equipment: 26' straight trucks
Area of Operation: NJ, PA, NY and beyond.
Services: Same day & next day. Dock-to-dock, lift gate, inside delivery. If you need something done and we can accommodate, we will work with you to make it happen.
Freight: Dry goods with no single shipment exceeding 10,000 lbs or 14 non-stack standard pallets (28 if stackable).
*14 pallet capacity is contingent on the shippers willingness to turn the pallets. 12 is the max if standard pallets are not turned.
*Max total height of a pallet is 90 inches.

Family Owned and Veteran Operated
Barten Express is a family owned company founded by Catherine and Tom Barten. Catherine is an educator with a masters degree from Monmouth University. She is also the heartbeat of the company, providing her expertise as a dispatcher and office manager. Tom is a United States Marine Corps veteran who served two tours during OIF. Following an honorable discharge from the Marines, he furthered his education at Monmouth University, finishing with a bachelors degree in business. Tom's industry experience stems from work with both carriers and third party logistics providers. Using the couples combined experience, they work towards filling a gap in the industry by offering a trucking company that is service oriented. We approach every opportunity with a can do attitude and ensure timeliness and communication are maintained on every shipment.
